Its enormous natural and landscape richness, as well as the atmosphere and the beaches of the municipalities that make it up, make more and more people, Spanish or foreigners, decide to fix their home in this wonder of the Mediterranean.

    Where is the Costa Blanca

Many wonder where the Costa Blanca is, and it is normal as it covers such a large area. When we talk about the Costa Blanca we refer to the entire coast of the Spanish province of Alicante, and its more than 240 kilometers in length.

Its northern limit is with the Valencia Coast, and its southern limit with the Costa Cálida, located in Murcia. Costa Blanca is made up of 19 towns, all with their particular charms and each one of them more wonderful than the previous one, if this is possible.

You may be tired of searching for a real estate agency that adapts to the needs of your home purchase or sale. At Starck-Estates, our goal is to be what all real estate agents in Costa Blanca should comply with so as not to disappoint their potential clients, and we will show you that choosing the best real estate agent is much easier than you think.

We might think that the more well-known real estate agencies will be the ones that offer us the best service, but prestige and good service do not necessarily go hand in hand with popularity. The important thing is the results.

But why hire the services of a real estate agent? One of the most important reasons is specialized advice. When someone tries to sell or buy a home, there are details that can be avoided, and it never hurts to leave a professional in the sector to take care of everything. A real estate agency in Costa Blanca can provide the client with a wide variety of possibilities to get what they are looking for.

Another advantage of a real estate agency is the ease of management and intermediation between buyers and sellers: good agents always know how to do their job to properly and achieve the best results.

In the end, what the future buyer or seller is looking for is that their needs are met in the most cost-effectiveway and that the agent will provide the best available home at the best price according to their individual requirements.

Do you need some advice on the best choice of real estate agents on the Costa Blanca? Choose your real estate agency in Denia. Take note of the recommendations that we offer below if you are a buyer, seller or a real estate agent! You will experience what a good agency dedicated to the sale or purchase of homes on the Costa Blanca should really be like.

Starck-Estates, your trusted real estate agent in Costa Blanca

These are some tips that we can give you as a real estate agent so that you can find the home that best suits your needs:

Get well informed The first thing you should do is check what our customers think about us. On our website you can find a section dedicated to the reviews of real clients who have already made use of our services to purchase or sell a home. You can also check our experience and our history in the sector. The important thing is that you ask the right questions and that they are the best ones to find good professionals in the real estate sector.

After contacting us, do not hesitate to ask us any questions or help us address any concerns that you may have. We are here to help you. You must resolve any doubts and then you can decide whether to proceed or not. Did you feel good about us? Have we given you confidence in our way of working? Do you trust us to handle the sale or purchase of your home? Once you have all the information and if the answer is yes, stop searching. You have found your trusted real estate agency. You have found your real estate agent in Costa Blanca.

Do not worry about the costs.GoodCosta Blanca real estate agencies like Starck-Estates, are able to sell your home faster or find the ideal propertytoinvest your savings. This speed translates into money savings, since you are sure to avoid, for example, possible price drops.

Starck-Estates as a real estate agency in Costa Blanca only receives its share if it is finally possible to sell or buy the property in question. So,don’t worry, if you do not achieve a sale, you do not pay.

Don’t get carried away with pricing. It is always better to be realistic. For example, if you wish to sell your house, you may find that some real estate agencies put a higher value on the house than the market price, making you believe that they can get you more money for it. That type of real estate sale can be misleading. Trust us and we will ensure that this is not the case.

The best option will always be the most realistic; a proposal that attracts your attention as a seller but is appropriate to the current market. Similarly, you should not hire the real estate agencies that advises you to sell your house at a price that is too low to enable a quick sale.Rushing is not good practice when it comes to home sales and at Starck-Estates we understand this. When wedecide on a price for your property, let us work to achieve as close to what you expect as possible.

If you are going to sell your property, we offer you competent buyers. It is imperative that your client’sfinancing has been studied and that the characteristics of your home fit with what interested customers are looking for. We study each case individually and we care about satisfying sellers and customers equally.

The real estate agency must adapt to you and your needs, not the other way aroundFor example, another important point is the timing. At Starck-Estates we adapt to your availability. You are our client and we will give you the respect that you deserve.

The realtor will take care of all the conversation with the buyer. In the case of wanting to sell a home, you should avoid intervening in the conversation between the agent and the buyer. Otherwise, you could jeopardize the sale. When an agent is professional, as we are, you can trust us to deliver.

Do not let a bad experience in the past take you away from the services of a real estate agent. If you intend to sell or buy a home on the Costa Blanca, do not hesitate to contact us. At Starck-Estates you will be supported by an exceptional team throughout the whole process and you will leave us feeling satisfied. We will not let you down!

Do you know the most paradisiacal place in the Mediterranean area southeast Spain? Of course we refer to the Costa Blanca.

It is a large region of the province of Alicante, which will surprise you with its beautiful beaches of about 218 km length, bathed by the radiant sun.

Being an area composed of so many municipalities, you will be surprised with so much to do in Costa Blanca. It is a tourist area par excellence, where you can live like never before the magic of the Spanish Mediterranean.

Those who have the opportunity to visit the Costa Blanca of Alicante are captivated by the beauty and charm of this area.

This has led many tourists to be interested in acquiring real estate in the area, in order to have a property and enjoy its splendor at any time of the year.

The Costa Blanca not only has the best beaches, but also great attractions, such as coves and cliffs, being a destination blessed by nature.

In addition, it has much more to offer, such as its incredible cuisine, traditions and festivities, where you can participate.

Next, we will explain in detail everything to do in Costa Blanca during your vacation and the many reasons why you will want to stay.

Reasons why to live in Costa Blanca

Before you decide to visit this tourist area of Alicante, we have to inform you that more and more visitors decide to stay in Costa Blanca. For which reason? We will explain some of the main reasons to you:

Enjoy the sea and the Mediterranean breeze

Without a doubt, this is the main reason why so many tourists visit the Costa Blanca of Alicante. And it offers transparent and very calm waters, ideal for the best possible comfort.

The characteristics of the Costa Blanca of Alicante make it an ideal destination for the whole family, with crystal clear and shallow waters. In addition, it has a large number of ports for sports use.

    Alicante are not only beaches

Few tourist destinations in Spain enjoy the diversity of this region, therefore, there is much to do in Costa Blanca. Nature has been very generous and therefore has many mountains to explore.

Alicante is credited with being the second province in Spain with the highest number of mountains. Therefore, on your trip you can find 10 natural parks, with valleys and forests. No wonder there is a rich biodiversity in the area.

We recommend you to explore the mountains of Mariola, Font Roja and Montgó, as well as to enjoy the beauty of the lagoons of La Mata and Torrevieja.

Definitely, the Mediterranean coast at its best awaits you in Alicante.

    Costa Blanca always sunny

If you are looking to escape from the cold of the rest of Spain, it is not surprising that you want to live in Costa Blanca, since you can enjoy the sun throughout the year.

Enjoying the sea and the various outdoor physical activities are just a fraction of what to do on the Costa Blanca.

Here the sun is present at least 300 days a year. We do not exaggerate, there are a total of 2,800 hours of the magnificent Mediterranean sun that you can enjoy each year.

The climate of the Costa Blanca is so mild that it has an average annual temperature between 17 and 19 ° C and with little rainfall, thanks to its privileged location between the sea and the mountains, having only about 20 days of rain per year.

Even winter is softer on the Costa Blanca, which is why it is shown as an excellent tourist destination in the Spanish Mediterranean throughout the year.

    Mediterranean gastronomy

Something that can not be missed is the enjoyment of good food. Mediterranean cuisine evidently takes advantage of the sea fruits, however, the menu is very varied and healthy.

Fish and seafood are the specialty in the restaurants of the Costa Blanca of Alicante, distinguished by the high quality and unique flavor of these fresh ingredients, which are extracted from the Mediterranean Sea directly to the dishes of the diners.

Broths and rice are other traditional foods of the Costa Blanca. Especially rice, which is a very elaborated dish, which is combined with tuna, squid, chicken or pork, being a delight that every tourist should savor during their stay.

If you decide to get a bit further away from the Mediterranean coast and enter the mountainous area, you can savor the traditional olletas, which combine a variety of ingredients such as chickpeas, pumpkin, sausage, pork and other varieties of meat.

But as in any good gastronomic offer, sweets and desserts can not be missed, so on the Costa Blanca, you can taste delicious cakes in varieties such as grapes, dates, almonds and raisins. But you will also enjoy Jijona's best ice cream and delicious nougat.

Rich culture and tradition on the Costa Blanca

Many visitors who decide to visit or live in Costa Blanca are attracted by the immense cultural wealth of these lands, which were inhabited by Romans, Arabs and Iberians.

The festivities are another of the options for those looking to have fun, since we talk about a land very rich in culture and traditions.

Here the traditional bonfires of San Juan stand out, through which the summer is welcomed.

During this party, you worship the fire, enjoying good music, theater, fireworks and many other fun activities.

The Moors and Christians festivities are also celebrated, being considered as of International Tourist Interest.

Throughout the Costa Blanca you can enjoy multiple traditional festivals, such as the one held annually in the Basilica Santa María in the town of Elche, a masterpiece considered a World Heritage Site.

Places to visit in Costa Blanca

In your itinerary of activities to do on the Costa Blanca, it is worth visiting the various cities and towns throughout the area.

Here you will have the opportunity to find that ideal place to live, making your dreams come true to move to the Mediterranean.

We must start by mentioning the main city of the Costa Blanca, which is Alicante. It is a city rich in cultural and nightlife, business epicenter and also provided with public recreation spaces and its unique beaches of fine sand.

But if you are looking for a little more tranquility, you can also visit other of the multiple locations of the Costa Blanca, including Algorfa, located in the Vega Baja region.

Do not forget to visit the city of Denia, a tourist paradise by the sea.

The historic city par excellence of the Costa Blanca is Elche, with more than 2,000 years of existence.

With the desired summer saying goodbye to us and autumn around the corner, temperatures begin to drop quite a bit compared to the previous months, but nevertheless, they are still perfect temperatures to be on the street and go on a trip.

250km of coastline are the dimensions of the magical Costa Blanca, formed by multiple beaches and coves, belonging to beautiful towns and cities of the Valencian community. It is a wonderful place to live, with an average annual temperature of 18 ° C and a place full of life thanks to its many restaurants, beaches, coves, mountains, monuments ...

Read on to know the best plans to do alone or in company on the Costa Blanca during the Fall.

    Visit Alicante

To start off, what better plan to go for a walk and get to know the city of Alicante. It is the second most populous city in the Autonomous Community. Here you can enjoy a city with everything you are looking for, from clothing stores, to restaurants, cafes, cinemas, monuments, historic center ...

We invite you to read our blog of the best things to do today in Alicante to learn more about the city.

Salinas de la Mata and Torrevieja

For sure you have seen these two unique lakes in the occasional online photo, and it is not surprising since they are next to each other and have very peculiar colors for lagoons: Green and pink.

There are several routes to explore the banks of this natural park both on foot and by bicycle and enjoy this unique and striking space.

Canelobre Caves Salinas de la Mata and Torrevieja

One of the best plans to make if it turns out that the weather does not accompany much in this fall season. Only 25 km from the city of Alicante, are the Canelobre caves, a space of 80,000 square meters where you can find one of the highest domes in the whole country and where you will find yourself surrounded by stalagmites of up to 100,000 years and many other wonders created by the effects of water over the years.

    Cave paintings of Alcoy

Two Sundays a month, from February to November, it is possible to visit the cave paintings of La Sarga belonging to the city of Alcoy, on the Costa Blanca. These visits are free but are limited in hours and in maximum groups of 30 people, due to the great importance of conservation of these paintings, named World Heritage by Unesco in 1998.

Michelin restaurants on the Costa Blanca

If there is something that everyone recognizes, it is that on the Costa Blanca you can find the best food. A territory of the Mediterranean with a rich and healthy gastronomy. And that is why the province of Alicante has 15 Michelin stars distributed among 11 restaurants.

Maybe the purse does not give you to go to all (or yes), but if possible visit one of them and try their great menu. El Rodat, El Monastrell, Quique Dacosta, Orobianco ... choose the one you like and enjoy.

Gastronomy is an art and treasure that is spread all over the world, each region and each country has its own delicacies that make them special and unique, as well as being very well cared for by its inhabitants.

In Spain, each region has its own unique dishes, whether they are desserts or food, they differ in their flavor, tradition of elaboration or the products used for their preparation.

The Mediterranean coast is characterized by its dishes of abundant vegetables and top quality fish, and this is where the typical dishes of the Costa Blanca come in.

The Costa Blanca extends from the municipality of Denia in the north, to the municipality of Pilar de la Horadada to the south, a gastronomic route of more than 218 kilometers that you should know.

Read on to know the main typical dishes of Costa Blanca.

    Crusted rice

The rice with crust is a typical dish of the Elche area. Apart from containing top quality products such as vegetables, fish or meat, the main characteristic of this dish is the beaten egg that is thrown over it, getting a layer to be made in the oven, imitating a scab. Hence its name.

    Pericana

La Pericana is a dish of great tradition. For some time it was prepared in the same way that it is still being prepared today, although perhaps the tasting method has varied a bit.

La Pericana is composed of dried peppers, garlic, olive oil and chaplains or cod, whatever you like best. It is usually eaten accompanied by a slice of bread with aioli or as a side dish.

    Tuna Mojama

Mojama is a very typical dish among the tapas of Alicante and very recognized nationally. The preparation of the Mojama, consists of salting the slices of bluefin tuna, washing them later and finally letting them dry. Once prepared they are usually eaten in thin slices accompanied by bread and olive oil.

    Arroz a Banda

One of the most famous and well-known rice dishes. Arroz a Banda is very common in the coastal towns of Alicante. Its preparation varies according to the tastes of the guests: baked, broth, mixed, with vegetables, fish or meat.

When we put fish in Arroz a Banda, squid, crayfish or prawns are usually present. In addition, the dish is usually accompanied with aioli sauce.

    Sweet potato pie

Pastel de Boniato is shaped like a pie with a beautiful sweet potato dough inside. A typical dessert of the Christmas season much loved by the smallest of the house for its sweetness. The cake has cinnamon that together with the sweet potato creates an explosion of flavors for the palate.

On the internet you can easily find the method of preparing this dessert.

    Jijona nougat

Who does not know this nougat today? Thanks to its incredible television campaign, Turrón de Jijona has been part of Spanish homes for Christmas for years.

This nougat uses almond ground with honey to give it that unique flavor it has. This mixture is what gives that characteristic pasty and sweet texture.

    The Costa Blanca

The Costa Blanca, is what is most commonly called the entire Mediterranean coast bordering the province of Alicante. From Denia to Pilar de Horadada. 244 km of wonderful beaches and coves, that will make any vacationer feel in paradise.

But away from the sun and beach, the Costa Blanca has several municipalities such as Denia, Jávea, Calpe, Elche, Benidorm ... among others, which during the summer season are filled with life thanks to its traditional festivals that await so many inhabitants during the year.

    Fiestas of the Costa Blanca.

The fiestas of a region are one of the characteristics that gives that unique personality to a country, city or town. That is why in many places they are eagerly awaited year after year by its inhabitants.

Thanks to the amount of communities that form the Costa Blanca, it is an area full of unique, incredible and traditional festivities to see.

    Fallas in Dénia.

Although the Fallas in Valencia are the best known nationally and internationally, the municipality of Dénia also has their own and should not envy anything to Valencia, because they really are spectacular.

Each year a total of eleven Fallas commissions place their incredible Fallas in Dénia. As always gunpowder is the star of this party. Music, food, fireworks show and of course, the precious ninots.

In Dénia the Fallas are not burned at the same time, but they are burned progressively, so that visitors can see more than one "cremà" during this Fiesta.

    San Juan bonfires

One of the traditions with more followers, are the bonfires of San Juan. The inhabitants of Dénia gather near the seashore and begin to prepare their bonfires together with their friends and family.

The food, music and bonfires fill the beaches of Costa Blanca, giving way to a magical and incredible night.

As it is traditional also in other locations that border on the Mediterranean, just when the clock marks midnight, all those present approach the water to carry out their various rituals to attract good luck and ask for their wishes.

    The Mystery of Elche

Every 14th and 15th of August, inside the Basilica of Santa María, in the city of Elche, the Dormition, Assumption and Coronation of the Virgin Mary are recreated. A religious sacral-lyric drama.

This performance is characterized by being represented only by men, since it continues to respect the norm of medieval origin in which women were not allowed. It is also the only play in the world that is allowed to be performed inside a church thanks to Pope Urban VII.

The performance received on May 18, 2001 the recognition of Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by Unesco.

As you have seen, it is a performance worth seeing at least once in a lifetime.

Spring is already approaching one of the most traditional and passionate festivals in Spain. The Holy Week. The good weather and the desired Easter holidays give way to a lot of different activities that take place between April 14 and 21, 2019, although the dates vary according to the year. We invite you to keep reading to know all the plans.

    The processions of Holy Week

If you are in Alicante, you can not miss the passes and the processions. The tours through the Old Town will leave you speechless and we will highlight four of the most popular in the city.

El Cristo Morenet, you can see it leaving on Holy Monday from the Virgen del Socorro Hermitage, making a circular route until you enter the Hermitage again. This Christ is said to have arrived in the city by the sea.

We also recommend that you go to see the procession carried out by the Hermandad de la Santa Cruz in the neighborhood of Santa Cruz, one of the most exciting and known by the inhabitants of Alicante. Its steep stairs are filled with colorful flowers for the long-awaited occasion. You can see this procession on Holy Wednesday.

If you have occasion to take a trip we recommend you to visit Orihuela. His pass "The Devil" is declared of International Tourist Interest. This is the only demon in Spain that goes out in a procession. The pass is characterized by being composed of a white sphere with an angel and at the base there is a devil and a skeleton. For this reason, at this stage the pass is not allowed to enter churches. It is one of the most unique and ancient to participate in Holy Week.

Finally, we recommend that you see the Santa Cena pass celebrated on Holy Thursday. The amazing thing about this pass is the use of real food that is donated at the end of this one.

If you do not declare yourself a fan of traditional plans and religious customs we also have activities designed for the whole family to spend a fantastic Easter.

The typical gastronomy of Holy Week

During Holy Week the province of Alicante is filled with traditional cuisine with centennial dishes and desserts to suck your fingers. The houses are full of aroma of stews, pastries and hot ovens.

During Holy Thursday it is typical to go for tapas in the local area, where you can try some Lenten dishes, such as boiled beans, camarrojas with boot sardines or salted bonito with raw tender beans.

As sweet highlights, without a doubt, you should try the pancakes in broth and the amohabanas (a kind of sweet bread).

    Feel the nature

As we have said before, Holy Week is accompanied by good weather, blue skies and lots of sunshine. This makes it a perfect time to go cycling or hiking along the Gran Costa Blanca Interior Route and enjoy the beautiful landscapes.

Or if you are one of those who are very hot, you can take the swimsuit and enjoy the beaches and coves of Costa Blanca.

    Costa Blanca

As you have been able to observe, the Costa Blanca has a great leisure offer during Holy Week that you can enjoy whenever you want, having a home there.

Starck-Estates is a real estate agency with a team of professionals willing to help you find your ideal home. Starck-Estates has a great variety of properties on the Costa Blanca: Fincas and villas in Javea, Denia, Pego ... among others.
